2、 远侧端甲下型：初表现为甲的远端（侧缘）甲板面出现不规则的小片白斑，随后变成无光泽的灰斑，并逐渐变为黄棕色直至黑色。不久甲板变质，甲下角质碎屑堆积、甲床增厚。最后甲板变萎缩，偶有出血。此型常由红色、石膏样或絮状表皮癣菌引起。
3、 白色表浅型：常见于指趾甲。表现为甲板表面有白点或白色1毫米直径大小的斑片，病甲呈脆性而刮落。此型仅由石膏样毛癣菌或霉样菌、镰刀菌及曲菌所致。
4、 全甲营养不良型：这并不多见，常为以上各型最终发展的结果。表现为全甲失去光泽、变质、增厚或碎裂、脱落后留下异常增厚的甲床。
5、 慢性皮肤粘膜念珠菌性甲型（或真性念珠菌甲癣）：表现为全甲变质、膨起、松脆，表面疣状，凹凸不平。
6、 慢性甲沟炎型：表现为外侧甲皱襞及近端甲皱、表皮护膜变质或变棕色。最重要的特点是有甲沟炎存在，甲周皱襞肿胀而没有甲下角化过度，可有少量渗液但从不出脓。此型亦多由念珠菌引起。
7、真菌性甲型：表现为脚气浓重（俗称“香港脚”）趾沟腐烂、水疹。
